After class we headed to Tino’s for our annual gift exchange.
Coveted and not-so-coveted gifts included a framing hammer, a false teeth ice cube tray, a “learn to read” Brave storybook, partially disassembled tactical pen, an Atomic Robo trade paperback, a Ninja blender, used baseball bats, a knife disguised as lipstick, an armchair organizer, and Mace.
Happy holidays!
Guro Bethany is in town for a few weeks and joined us as we continued to work on different variations on Panuntukan Set 1 (e.g., working off of the jab-cross)
We ended class with some practice drawing trainers from concealment. David D. had some trouble deploying his folder (0 for 3), Brian managed to stab through his T-shirt, and I dropped a trainer down my pants. Apparently, we need to work on this a bit more …
We welcomed Guro Joe M. back to Maryland and also had a surprise visit from another senior instructor.
Guro Joe M. taught us panuntukan applications against the jab and jab-cross. We ended the class in free flow.
