Class Notes – July 13 and 20, 2010

Man stabbed and robbed by three teens
A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the upper torso and robbed around 11 p.m. in Glen Burnie. The victim reported that he was confronted by three teens who stabbed him, stole his wallet and cell phone, then fled the scene on foot. The victim was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment.
Man stabbed by wife
Mark Anthony Seymour was stabbed in the chest by his 47-year-old wife, Sumayyah Seymour, during an argument. After stabbing her husband, Ms. Seymour called 911 and told dispatchers that she was sorry.Mr. Seymour was flown to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland. His wife has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Man stabs brother multiple times
A 23-year-old Anne Arundel man grabbed a knife during an argument and stabbed his 29-year old brother multiple times. The stabbing victim was treated at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma center for his non-life-threatening wounds.
Class Notes – July 6, 2010
In attendance: Bob, Joe, Mosi, Frank, Roderick, Asim and Lauris. Joe and Mosi introduced the phase II version of 3 of 9 tapping. The second half of class was spent working on digables in free flow.
Sama Sama 2010 (July 2 – 5, 2010)

The weather was perfect up in the Poconos for Sama Sama this year. Maryland was represented by Joe C. and Mosi, Northern Virginia by Vedo and Alfred, Virginia Beach by Ervin and Mike D., and Western New York by Warren.
As always, it was great reuniting with old friends. Shawn G. and Chuck and Kara returned to Sama Sama after a long absence. Bob B. was back in his traditional role as videographer. Joe M. and J.P. were there along with many others.
The training included basic curriculum as well as sessions featuring Tuhon Tom Kier (tactical holstering/drawing and family dynamics) and Tuhon Carl Atienza (using the bolo sheath as a weapon). Saturday night included a sayaw and midnight tracking/navigation session.
I hope that everyone had a good time and made some new friends!
