We worked on the 3 of 10 and 2 of 12 smoking knife templates and compared them to the Sayoc tactical template.

Today’s class focused on two smoking knife templates: 2 of 12 and 3 of 10. Both are reverse grip templates with a “sentry removal” theme.

Today’s class focused on projectiles. We began by throwing trainers into pizza boxes, then took turns throwing kicking targets at volunteers. We ended class with a brief free-for-all projectile melee.

After practicing the Sayoc salutation, Brian and Lem worked on transition drills while the rest of class continued to work on the AK long blade evolution and AK hourglass footwork.

We continued to polish 3 of 9 phase II tapping. Michael and Brian went on to free flow with grappling. At the end of class, we re-introduced AK long blade evolution 1. We were able to cover the first four counts, which includes two retreating point down deflections and two point up deflections. Morgana was introduced to the first few counts of 3 of 9 and cross tapping.
