Tuhon Carl returned for another seminar. We covered draw vs. draw, long blade evolutions, hand attacks, and fighter types. More detailed notes are posted in the AK members forum.

In attendance: Bob, Victor, David and Cliff. We introduced some karambit work, then reviewed 3/9 tapping. The second half of class was spent on the 7 count passing drill.

Two local baseball bat murders
Last week, a 16-year-old straight-A McDonogh student bludgeoned his mother to death in an argument over his school performance.A 15-year-old Glen Burnie high school student has been charged as an adult with first-degree murder after striking a man from behind with a baseball bat on April 29. The 49-year-old man slipped into a coma the next day and died last Tuesday.

Fatal stabbing in Baltimore
A 27-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and left outside of the University of Maryland Medical Center where he later died.
