Guro Lem has been training in Sayoc since 2003. He is a level 5 associate instructor and level 1 whip instructor in Sayoc. He has been a member of the Maryland Atienza Kali training group since 2004.

Bob Shin
Guro “Dr. Bob” began training in Sayoc as a member of the original Butohan in Upper Darby, PA. He has been teaching Sayoc in Columbia since moving to Maryland in 2002. He is a level 5 full instructor and level 1 whip instructor in Sayoc. He formed the Maryland Atienza Kali training group in 2004.
Joe Cypressi
Guro Joe has been training with Maharlika Martial Arts since 2003. He is currently a level 2 associate instructor in Sayoc and a member of the Maryland Atienza Kali training group. Joe is a 4th-degree karate black belt, and a skilled sculptor and bladesmith. He is also an Aquarius who enjoys piña coladas and walks in the rain.
